Invisible braces: the options

At Balsall Common Dental Practice we offer three different types of invisible braces; each of which has many advantages:

Clear aligners

Clear aligners are designed to align or realign your teeth, while being as unobtrusive and unobvious as possible. You’ll start with one set of removeable and see-through, thermoplastic aligners, which will be replaced every few weeks with the next set in the series. Clear aligners work just as efficiently to straighten and realign your teeth as traditional braces, and you’ll visit us every six weeks to make sure your treatment is progressing as planned.

Lingual braces

Lingual braces sit tongue-side, attached to the backs of the teeth and completely out of sight. Like traditional metal braces, they do the work to straighten and improve your smile, but unlike the traditional options, lingual braces do it without being visible. Generally, lingual braces take a little more getting used to, but if you’ve got mild to moderately crooked teeth, and you want completely invisible braces during treatment, these could be the right option for you.
